The R.B. Annis Naturalist’s Lab is an interactive, educational space located on the museum’s Level 1 core galleries. Visitors can record their own animal calls or listen to an expert’s version of a wild turkey, cardinal and more. Each drawer in the lab is filled with specimens such as rocks, minerals and skeletons.

The Naturalist’s Lab is a great place to experience a variety of programming centered-around Indiana’s nature and wildlife. Experts from the museum and natural science content specialists from throughout Indiana present demonstrations and programs on reptiles, wildlife, natural habitats, trees and more.
