Mound Mayhem Archaeology Summer Camp
June 11 – 15, 2012; 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$130 per camper for the week
$115 early registration through May 18
Part of Angel Mounds' Archaeology Summer Day Camp series, Mound Mayhem explores the mysteries of the Mississippian Native Americans that once thrived at Angel Mounds. Campers learn about Missisippian lifeways through such activities as mock excavations, stone tool technology, a special "Friday Feast" of Mississippian cuisine and much more. Registration includes free t-shirt, snacks and lunch on Friday.

Extreme Egypt Archaeology Summer Camp
June 25 – 29, 2012; 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$130 per camper for the week
$115 early registration through May 18
Part of Angel Mounds' Archaeology Summer Day Camp series, Extreme Egypt allows campers to explore Egypt and all its splendor right in their own backyard. Activities include mock excavations, a visit to an Egyptian tomb, a special "Friday Feast" of Egyptian cuisine and much more. Registration includes free t-shirt, snacks and lunch on Friday.

Groovy Gladiators Archaeology Summer Camp
July 9 – 13, 2012; 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$130 per camper for the week
$115 early registration through May 18
Part of Angel Mounds' Archaeology Summer Day Camp series, Groovy Gladiators transports campers to one of the greatest empires of the Western World. Campers will meet some of Rome’s most notorious characters and participate in such activities as mock excavations, recreated gladiator battles, a special "Friday Feast" of Roman cuisine and much more. Registration includes free t-shirt, snacks and lunch on Friday.

Go Greek Archaeology Summer Camp
July 23 – 27, 2012; 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$130 per camper for the week
$115 early registration through May 18
Part of Angel Mounds' Archaeology Summer Day Camp series, Go Greek transports campers to where Western civilization was born. Campers will discover the Parthenon and the original Olympic Games, dig into archaeology, enjoy a special "Friday Feast" of Greek cuisine and much more. Registration includes free t-shirt, snacks and lunch on Friday.

Camp Corydon Day Camp
July 17 – 19, 2012; 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
$45 per camper
Young history buffs in grades 3 through 5 will love this day camp! There will be a variety of history related activities over the course of three days.

Madison Archicamp: Settling Madison
June 27, 28, 2012; 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$30 per person; reservations required
Campers ages 8 to 12 can travel back in time for hands-on fun learning about area landmarks, architecture, historic preservation and history in Madison, Indiana. There will be hand tools from the past, a walking tour, architectural craft projects and more! The second day of the camp will conclude with a swim at the historic Crystal Beach pool.

Fee includes refreshments, educational materials, admission fees and souvenirs. Participants should bring a sack lunch both days. Enrollment for the camp is limited to 20 children. Camp Steele
July 6, 13, 20, 27, 2012; 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
$20 per day per camper or $60 for all four Fridays
Students in grades 4 through 7 campers will discover T.C. Steele, his work, his life and his home through art activities and tours. Campers will explore the grounds and learn to use the site as an inspiration to a budding artist. Campers should bring a sack lunch, but snacks and drinks will be provided.

History Camp: Planes, Trains and Automobiles
July 9 – 13, 2012; 8 a.m. – noon
$50 per camper
Campers ages 8 to 12 will take part in educational activities, crafts, games and skits. Camp fee includes t-shirt, take home crafts and snack.
