In addition to taking a tour of the territorial village, you can visit Sugar Loaf Mound and Fort Knox II. Bring a picnic to Fort Knox II and enjoy a wonderful view of the Wabash River.

Council Ground Gathering

Steven Caudill, noted Daniel Boone expert, will portray the famous pioneer. Regular tours of the Territory Capitol State Historic Site buildings will be available hourly.

Hiking History for Health

Vincennes State Historic Sites partners with Generations (Area Agency on Aging) to promote intergenerational fitness and health. Guests can enjoy a walking course that includes history and health stations. Participants of all ages will learn about healthy habits, have their blood pressure and oxymetric readings taken and can share information about local history.

Not So Scary Haunted Village
Oct. 22; 6 – 9 p.m.

Family oriented program featuring legends from early Indiana history, harvest activities and costume contest. Nominal fee for take-home crafts. A great alternative to haunted houses!

12th annual Muster on the Wabash
Nov. 6; 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Nov. 7; 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Find out what life was like at Fort Knox II circa 1811. This annual event commemorates Harrison's muster of troops there prior to the Prophetstown campaign and Battle of Tippecanoe. Enjoy interactive events, demonstrations, skits, merchanidise and food.

Vincennes Noel
