Plan your visit to the Indiana State Museum — Indiana's museum of science and culture. Located in White River State Park in the heart of Indianapolis, the Indiana State Museum invites you to explore Indiana’s past, present and future through artistic, cultural and scientific exhibits.

Temporary exhibits showcase art, history, science and popular culture. The museum's core exhibits trace Hoosier history from the birth of Earth into the 21st century. Museum programs, activities, workshops and tours are available to make your visit even more memorable.

While you're downtown at White River State Park, you might also want to walk next door to visit the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art.
