Abe the Babe

On this (almost) Valentine's Day, find the answer to the question we've all been asking:

Was Abraham Lincoln a babe?

Learn about the societal norms for courtship in Abraham Lincoln's time, and get the details on stories that reveal the ups and downs of his love life. Discuss these topics and more with Chief Curator and Research Officer Susannah Koerber.

To add to the celebration, Abe’s 210th birthday will be honored with Lincoln-themed activities. Create an Abe-inspired valentine for the Mary Todd in your life and don some accessories for a silly photo op. Sip on a signature cocktail crafted after the women in Abe's life: The Rutledge, The Mary O. or The M.T. The first one's on us, and additional signature cocktails will be available for purchase.

We HONESTLY hope we'll see you there!
