Afterschool and Summer Programs

Bring our hands-on, inquiry-based learning fun to your afterschool program, summer camp or library program. Our museum staff travels to your location and leads up to 25 participants through a one-hour program geared toward Kindergarten through grade 5 or grades 6-8.

Theme Selection:

  • STEAMBring a bit of the museum to your students! Explore science, technology, engineering, art and math through hands-on activities that tie into the newest and coolest museum experiences.
  • Color Science: Investigate what happens when science meets art. Observe how chemical reactions create colorful creations and be dazzled with multi-colored experiments.
  • Going GreenDiscover how your students can go green and help save the planet. Tinker with alternative forms of energy, experiment with eco-friendly materials and investigate environmental science.
