“The Artist-Naturalist” Artist Reception

Join us for an opening artist reception with Alex Warnick, a natural history artist based in Columbus, Indiana, as she discusses her latest watercolor exhibition, “The Artist-Naturalist” – on display at Limberlost State Historic Site through Oct. 15.

During the reception, Warnick will discuss her inspiration from Gene Stratton-Porter’s novels and the Limberlost Swamp, plus explore the kinship she feels with Gene and other female naturalists who use the arts to celebrate the landscape of Indiana.

The reception is free to attend.
