Enjoy all that fall has to offer with scheduled outdoor hikes in the Watanabe Gardens, around the museum and throughout White River State Park. Make fall crafts and explore how wildlife are preparing for winter. Meet with local hiking groups and discover new places around the state to enjoy fall colors during a fall hike.
11 AM - 1 PM
Join museum staff for a guided hike through the Watanabe Gardens. Take in the autumn flora and even collect seeds to plant in your garden at home!
1 - 5 PM
Families can venture and hike around the gardens, canal and along our 92 county walk.
Throughout the day, Indiana Crossroads Orienteering will be teaching the skills of orienteering in and around the museum.
Indiana Crossroads Orienteering is an orienteering club serving the central Indiana area. We promote the sport of map and compass by hosting orienteering meets throughout the year.
