Boy Scouts of America: Investigating Our Past

What is the difference between paleontology and archaeology? Discover the answer and explore how these scientists learn about the past with this hands-on program. Earn your Digging in the Past badge, or complete your requirements for the Archaeology Merit Badge, excluding requirements 4 and 9.

9:30 - 11:30 a.m. - Wolf Elective Adventure Badge: Digging in the Past (Grades 1–5)
12:30 - 3 p.m. - Archeology Merit Badge (Grades 5–12)

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance of the program start date to receive a full refund. Registrants have the opportunity to reschedule to another program based on availability up to 72 hours before program start date. Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance will not receive a refund. Indiana State Museum reserves the right to cancel any program 72 hours prior to the start date due to low registration numbers. In this case, participants will receive a full refund.
