Naloxone Training

The United States is in the middle of an opioid crisis, with Indiana at the epicenter. At this event, join the Floyd County Health Department to become trained on the use and administration of naloxone, also known by brand name Narcan. Naloxone is a drug that can reverse the effect of an opioid overdose. Attendees will be trained and receive a naloxone nasal kit, then join an open discussion on the opioid crisis. Pre-registration is required.
