From Voices of Freedom, join Rev. Michele Wood for open dialogue on art, history and praise of Henry Box Brown’s journey. Brown was a slave who found freedom by mailing himself in a wooden crate to abolitionists in Philadelphia, and he was a noted abolitionist speaker. After a presentation on Brown, Wood will lead an interactive program to further engage in conversations. This event is being held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 2 p.m.
