Nature Exploration: Mix and Match

Enjoy the summer weather on the museum’s beautiful Canal Terrace and in the Watanabe Gardens with a make-and-take kit paired with an art-making or nature-discovery experience. Choose from a mix-and-match menu of activities, including worm compost bottles, leafy insect art, nature weaving, foliage resistance paintings, land art, fairy/gnome gardens and more. Each selection is provided as a kit ready for individual or family exploration. 11 a.m. to noon and 1 to 2 p.m., Thursdays in July and Fridays August.
