  • Cardboard 500

    As dawn breaks, a flurry of activity can be seen and felt along Cardboard Alley, all in anticipation of the newest spectacle in racing, the Cardboard 500.  Families, start your running shoes and join us for a day of auto racing with a twist.  Family teams compete to design and build a cardboard body to fit on our pre-built push cart chassis. Discover the science behind the design of racing cars from local experts, and push your way into the winner’s circle.

    Young explorers allows little ones to be a big kid during these 90-minute drop-off classes that encourage creativity, exploration and independence in an environment that fosters curiosity and imagination.

    This month, your child will launch rockets and discover planets and stars in honor of Apollo 11’s 50th anniversary.

    This month we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing by becoming astronauts in training! Our explorers will create and launch rockets, test their astronaut skills, and discover planets and stars.   • Horse Hitch Demonstrations

    See the techniques used to hitch up the horses who pull the Ben Franklin III Canal Boat down the Whitewater Canal. Demonstrations are at 12:30 and 3:30 p.m.
