Gene Stratton-Porter State Historic Site hires program developer

ROME CITY, Indiana ( Jan. 20, 2020 ) – The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites has hired a program developer at Gene Stratton-Porter State Historic Site . Lauren Oxley joined the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites on Jan. 6. Oxley previously worked as an interpretive naturalist at Pokagon State Park in Angola and for Club Demonstration Services in Fort Wayne.   She has a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.... Gene Stratton-Porter State Historic Site hosts Harvest Celebration

Art exhibition inspired by Gene Stratton-Porter to open at Gene Stratton-Porter State Historic Site

ROME CITY, Indiana (Oct. 18, 2019 ) – Experience the beauty of Indiana nature through watercolor creations soon to be on display at Gene Stratton-Porter State Historic Site. Hunter education offered in partnership with Wild Game Cookout
