INDIANAPOLIS (Dec. 19, 2019) – On Dec. 31, even the littlest family members can ring in 2020 at Family New Year’s Eve at the Indiana State Museum – a family-friendly event featuring a balloon drop at 8 p.m. in the museum’s Great Hall.

WHAT: This New Year’s Eve celebration will feature face painting, dancing, music and more, all culminating with an epic balloon drop and countdown in the museum’s Great Hall at 8 p.m. This event is family-friendly and alcohol-free, with activities for all ages, from toddlers through adults. The entire museum will be open throughout the event so that attendees can explore the museum’s galleries as well, including rides on the Santa Claus Express train on the third floor and A•MAZE•D: The Puzzling World of Dave Phillips.
