Garden Metaphors: “Weeding Your Mind”

Gardening has a lot to teach us: hard work, patience, hope and learning from our mistakes. Come explore the metaphor of “weeding one’s mind” with the staff of Gene Stratton-Porter State Historic Site as we celebrate Earth Day. Pull your worries up by their roots and toss them into the burning pile on this day of reflection. Refreshments will be available but we ask you to bring your own gardening gloves, knee pads and shoes.

Price: Free
All donations on this day will be put directly into our Garden Fund to help cover costs in the garden

RSVP before April 21 by calling 260.854.3790

If you cannot make the program and wish to cultivate Gene’s garden with us, please contact the site for volunteer opportunities.
