Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites

Let your child explore and learn more about the world around them during this two-hour class that features different topics in science, art, history and culture. Adults join their learners for an interactive family experience.

All the colors in the rainbow create what we know as visible light. Bend light, twist colors and use mirrors to reflect light and create colorful experiments during this hands-on program.

Registration required three days prior to program date. Recommended for ages 6 – 13. No additional charge for adults attending Homeschool Thursdays. Tours of the House of the Singing Winds and Large Studio are available with purchase of regular site admission.
