Naloxone Training

The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites is working with community partners including Overdose Lifeline to train visitors on the appropriate use and administration of Naloxone. Naloxone, also known by the brand name Narcan, is a drug that can reverse the effects of an opioid or heroin overdose, and can be life-saving if administered in time. Visitors will be trained on how to use Naloxone, where it can be obtained, have open discussion on the opioid crisis and receive a nasal kit to take home. Recommended for ages 18+.
