Sunday Serenade: The Hoosier Hour
Join the staff of Indiana’s smallest radio station during WWII as they struggle to program a live radio show, complete with skits, commercials, live music and more!

Global Cardboard Challenge
Join thousands of people around the world to celebrate the Global Cardboard Challenge. Participants in the program at the Indiana State Museum will aim to design and build the biggest cardboard arcade in Indiana. From pinball machines to toss games or whatever else your imagination can create, it will be more fun than you can fit in a box – or a hundred boxes.

School’s Out! Columbus Day
School’s out for Columbus Day! Head to the Indiana State Museum for your day off and celebrate explorers with hands-on activities. See if you can remember famous explorers from the past and what they discovered, then find out if you have what it takes to be an explorer yourself. Choose what to pack for your expedition, decide who to take with you, and determine the goals for your trip.

Sensory Friendly Mornings at the Museum
Sensory friendly mornings are an exclusive time for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and sensory processing differences to have a fun, enjoyable and interactive learning experience in a comfortable and accepting environment. During this special hour, museum lights will be at a lower level, extra sounds will be limited, and distracting motions or equipment will be paused. Sensory friendly mornings also include sensory-friendly activities in the galleries so that visitors of all ages can enjoy a specially tailored experience.
