Exhibition and Program Sponsorship

The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites presents world-class exhibitions and educational programs that are promoted to state-wide audiences. Exhibition and program sponsorship offers our corporate partners the highest level of visibility and the closest public association with the ISMHS. Recent temporary exhibitions include 200 Years of Indiana Art: A Cultural Legacy, Indiana in 200 Objects: A Bicentennial Celebration and more. As an exhibition or program sponsor, you will receive recognition and benefits that may include: 

  • Inclusion in exhibition advertising and marketing campaigns
  • Logo credit on exhibition print and promotional materials, invitations, signage, and website 
  • Invitations to exhibition opening reception and events, exclusive and private access to the museum and/or state historic sites, including facility rental fee waivers for special events and behind-the-scenes tours for VIP guests and clients

Free School Field Trips 

Every Hoosier child in every classroom should have the opportunity to see the history, science and culture of Indiana for themselves. Field trips aren’t a luxury – they’re a necessity for kids who need enriching educational experiences outside the classroom in order to maximize their learning potential. As part of our continued commitment to education, the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites offers free admission to all Indiana K-12 student groups. As a sponsor of free field trips, you will receive recognition and benefits that may include: 

  • Logo inclusion in promotional and educational materials 
  • Logo credit on signage and website
  • Exclusive and private access to the museum and/or state historic sites, including facility rental fee waivers for special events and behind-the-scenes tours for VIP guests and clients

The Tribute Dinner

The Heritage Keepers Award is the highest honor bestowed by the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites. This award recognizes Indiana’s greatest ambassadors for their embodiment of the Hoosier Spirit in their achievements, leadership and service to the State of Indiana. Proceeds will benefit the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites to develop high quality exhibitions and dynamic programming for visitors and school children across the state of Indiana. 

Former Honorees include: The Hulman-George family, Earl Goode, Sen. Richard Lugar, Rabbi Sandy Sasso, Former First Lady of Indiana Judy O'Bannon and the four living governors of Indiana: Evan Bayh, Joe Kernan, Mitch Daniels and Mike Pence.

As a sponsor of the Tribute dinner, you may receive benefits including:

  • Inclusion in printed material such as save the dates, invitations and other materials 
  • Logo credit on signage and website
  • Ad space in the Tribute event program 
  • Tickets to the event
