The oldest plein air painting competition in Indiana celebrates its 38th year! Come enjoy the outdoors and watch artists create. Or, be a part of this special day by registering yourself as a participating artist and share your artistic talents with others.
Gates open at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, for artists to bring their blank pages and canvases to be stamped on-site, then it’s off to work. Artwork is judged at 2 p.m. and awards will be announced beginning at 3:30 p.m.
The winning pieces will be displayed until Sept. 30th at the Brown County Art Guild in downtown Nashville, Indiana, following the contest

The Great Outdoor Art Contest is part of Brown County Art Colony Weekend, Sept. 11-13.
