CELEBRATION CROSSING SPECIALIST

Celebration Crossing Specialist

The Indiana State Museum is seeking a Celebration Crossing Specialist to engage with visitors, assist with programming, respond to visitor questions and monitor experience components. You will enhance visitor experience through multiple positions including Santa’s House Photographer, Santa House Manager, Santa’s Front Yard Facilitator, Snowfall Express Line Facilitator, and Snowfall Express Conductor.

This position traditionally starts at an hourly rate of $16.73

SCHOOL BREAK CAMP CONTRACT COUNSELOR

School Break Camp Contract Counselor

The Indiana State Museum is seeking a School Break Camp Contract Counselor to assist with kindergarten through 6th grade school break camps within the Education and Engagement department.

This contract position will work from 7:45 am-5:30 pm on scheduled days. Fall break camp is scheduled October 12-16, 2026, and October 19-23, 2026. Winter break camp is scheduled December 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30, 2026 and January 4, 18, and February 15, 2027. This position traditionally starts at an hourly rate of $16.73.

PART-TIME SECURITY SPECIALIST - 1ST SHIFT

Part-Time Security Specialist - 1st Shift

The Indiana State Museum is seeking a Part-Time Security Specialist – 1st Shift who will be responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure environment for Indiana State Museum & Historic Sites (ISMHS) employees, visitors, collections, exhibits, facilities, and state property during overnight operations. The primary responsibilities include conducting routine interior and exterior security patrols; monitoring surveillance cameras and more.

This position will work on Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm, Monday from 11 am to 7 pm, Friday from 8 am to 4 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm. This position traditionally starts at an hourly rate of $16.73.

The Indiana State Museum is seeking a Part-Time Security Specialist – 3rd Shift who will be responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure environment for Indiana State Museum & Historic Sites (ISMHS) employees, visitors, collections, exhibits, facilities, and state property during overnight operations. This position will work on Monday from 12 am to 8 am, Tuesday from 12 am to 8 am, Wednesday from 12 am to 8 am. and Thursday form 12 am to 7 am. This position traditionally starts at an hourly rate of $16.73.
