Access Pass admission is $5 per family member per visit (not available online), for up to two adults and dependent youth living in the household. Visitor must show their Access Pass membership card upon entry as we do not have access to look up memberships.

Admission is free for pre-registered, accredited Indiana schools or Indiana homeschool groups of 10 or more K-12 students. Members of the Indiana Association of Homeschool Educators receive free daily admission with proof of membership. Afterschool programs also have a special field trip rate. Self-guided preschools and day cares pay group admission. The Preschool Journeys program costs $6 per student, $6 per chaperone and is free for teachers. See pricing and details. Additionally, all accredited Indiana K-12 educators receive free admission every day to all Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites locations* with their valid teacher ID.

Receive $2 off the price of museum admission with the purchase of an IMAX ticket. Discount for Indiana State Museum only; not available online. Offer valid with any IMAX ticket stub – same day purchase not required.

All Indiana state employees receive $10 off of NEW memberships and $5 off admission.

Students currently attending any Indiana college or university receive $5 admission with valid ID.

To honor their service, the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites offers active and veteran military free admission *year-round, and their immediate family members reduced admission ($2 off per ticket).

*From Armed Forces Day (May 17) to Labor Day (September 1) we are active participants in the Blue Star Museums program and offer free admission to active military and up to five family members. Active military members must be present to receive promotion.

Attendees of events at the Indiana Convention Center receive $3 off museum admission. Present your convention badge to the museum to receive the discount.
