Weaving up Cobweb Brooms

Come to Community House Number 2 to learn about the age old skill of broom making and make your own “witches broom” for Halloween. What materials were used to make brooms? What exactly is broom corn? How are they held together? Stay and learn how to make a cobweb broom, just perfect to get those cobwebs from the corners up high. The workshop fee will cover the instruction and all materials to make a cobweb boom.

This event is not included in museum admission and requires tickets. Members receive a 25% discount on tickets as well as free admission to the museum, 11 historic sites across the state, and 600+ other locations.
