The oldest plein air painting competition in Indiana celebrates its 37th year! Come enjoy the outdoors and watch artists create. Or, be a part of this special day by registering yourself as a participating artist and share your artistic talents with others.
Gates open at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, for artists to bring their blank pages and canvases to be stamped on-site, then it’s off to work. Artwork is judged at 2 p.m. and awards will be announced beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Registration can be done online or by mail. Fill out this form and you may either email it to [email protected], or mail it to the address listed within. Day-of registration is also available.
The Great Outdoor Art Contest is part of Brown County Art Colony Weekend, Sept. 12-14.
