The private lives of the Early Republic

What was the early Republic’s romantic culture like? Find out as we explore the social nuances of sexual attitudes, courtship, contraception and more during Indiana’s territorial days.

This program is recommended for visitors ages 14+ and will be led by costumed interperters. Light refreshments will be provided. 

This event will take place at the Territorial Capitol site located at 1 W. Harrison St., Vincennes.

Ticketing Info

This event is not included in admission and requires tickets. Members receive a 25% discount on tickets as well as free admission to the museum, 11 historic sites across the state, and 600+ other locations.
