We’re celebrating the Lanier Mansion’s 100th anniversary as a historic site! Join us for special activities throughout the day as we reflect back on the last century and look forward to the next one.
2-5 p.m.
- Play a historic cricket match on the south lawn
- Explore the first floor of the mansion during the open house
- Play historic lawn games in Cravens Square and learn about its namesake, Drusilla Cravens
- Ride the Madison Trolley (pre-registration required upon arrival at event)
- Enjoy cookies and lemonade on the south portico
5-7 p.m.
- Groove at Music at the Mansion featuring the Shelby Lore Band, an Appalachian rock group. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair and pack a picnic (alcohol is not permitted).
