See artists at work during Indiana’s oldest plein air painting competition. Painters from throughout the state will draw inspiration from the grounds that inspired impressionist T.C. Steele during this daylong celebration of the arts.
Artists may arrive as early as 7 a.m. All artists must bring a blank canvas. Judging will begin at 2 p.m. and awards will be announced at 3:30 p.m.
Early bird registration opens on Aug. 1. General registration begins on Sept. 1. Day-of registration is welcome.
The Great Outdoor Art Contest is part of Brown County Art Colony Weekend, Sept. 11-13.
