See artists at work during Indiana’s oldest plein air painting competition. Painters from throughout the state will draw inspiration from the grounds that inspired impressionist T.C. Steele during this daylong celebration of the arts.
Artists may arrive as early as 7 a.m. All artists must bring a blank canvas. Artwork will be judged by world-renowned artist, C.W. Mundy, at 2 p.m. and awards will be announced just after 3 p.m. See complete contest guidelines here.
Early bird registration opens on Aug. 1. General registration begins on Sept. 1. Day-of registration is welcome. Brownie’s restaurant will be selling lunch in the Visitor Center from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m., and cash payment is preferred.
