Printmaking Masters in the Renaissance

Homeschool Art Lab is an interactive program that explores stories, ideas and meaning throughout art history. Join us in the large studio for a discussion about art and apply some of these ideas and techniques during an art activity in the classroom.

Printmaking in the Renaissance included a few techniques: woodcut, engraving and etching. Albrecht Durer was a revolutionary in the printmaking scene and is attributed as the man who made it an independent artform. Join the discussion as we learn about Durer, and then create prints of our own.
