Step back in time to discover how Indiana became the Crossroads of America with a visit to Whitewater Canal State Historic Site. Learn about the history of transportation and mill mechanics inside the Metamora Grist Mill, and see the nation’s only known wooden aqueduct. Complete your visit with a walk along the trails that lead you down the canal route.
Self-guided tours are available all day, with mill demonstrations taking place at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
