Enjoy free admission on Juneteenth!

At the Corydon Capitol, you can step inside Indiana’s original seat of government and explore where early leaders shaped the state. The State Capitol Building and Governor’s Mansion will be open for guided tours, and visitors can also see the remains of the Constitution Elm, where lawmakers wrote Indiana’s first constitution in 1816.

Tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Advanced registration is encouraged by calling 812.738.4890.

This free admission day is supported by the Lacy Foundation.
