At Limberlost in Geneva, you can visit the Indiana home of beloved author and naturalist Gene Stratton-Porter and enjoy scenic woodland trails and historic gardens. An avid naturalist, Stratton-Porter created the large log cabin to reflect the beauty of the outdoors. See some of the home’s most unique features including the rich wood paneling, carved furniture, ornate Lincrusta wall details and even a case filled with moth and butterfly specimens that Gene collected through the years.
Tours will be offered at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and advance registration is encouraged by calling 260.368.7428.
