Hear the stories of two early utopian communities — the Harmonists and the Owenites — that once called this area home, and learn about their ingenuity as you walk the halls of buildings they left behind, including the Fauntleroy House and Thrall’s Opera House.
Tours will be offered at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., CDT. Community House No. 2 will be open throughout the day for visitors to discover during self-guided tours. Tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and advance registration is encouraged by calling 812.682.3702.
