FREE DAY! Come celebrate!

Join us for Juneteenth Saturday Celebration with special activities, live performances, local partners and more focused on history, health and the arts. Take home a free bike helmet (while supplies last) from our partners at IU Health and Riley Children’s Health and decorate it, too! Discover the history of Tuskegee Airmen told by modern-day pilots from the Indianapolis Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen with Kisha Tandy, curator of social history. Meet our partners from Indiana529 and register for a chance to win $250 toward college savings. Stop by the health and wellness fair supported by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and connect with community partners, find service providers and enjoy giveaways and activities designed to help you be healthy and get active.

See the complete schedule and list of vendors below.

This event is free, and pre-registration is not required. Parking is free and available in the White River State Park garage on a first-come, first-served basis.

Juneteenth will be observed by the museum and 11 state historic sites on Saturday, June 20, with free admission at all locations.
