Enjoy free admission and MLK day celebrations as we honor the legacy and contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.!

At the Corydon Capitol in Corydon, visitors can discover the story of Indiana’s journey to statehood as they explore the state’s first capital. The State Capitol Building and Governor’s Mansion will be open for guided tours, and visitors can also see the remains of the Constitution Elm, where lawmakers wrote Indiana’s first constitution in 1816.

Tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis, at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Advanced registration is encouraged by calling us at 812.738.4890.
