In New Albany, visitors can explore the Culbertson Mansion during a guided tour that highlights how the home, once slated for demolition, has been carefully restored to its former splendor. In addition to seeing the mansion’s beautiful Victorian architectural details, including hand-painted ceilings and an intricate spiral staircase, tour attendees will also learn about the lives of the Culbertson family and domestic servant staff, as well as the connection between the house and the people of New Albany.
Tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Advanced registration is encouraged by calling us at 812.944.9600.
