Enjoy free admission this Presidents Day.
At the Lanier Mansion in Madison, visitors can take a guided tour of an elegant Greek Revival home overlooking the Ohio River and connect Presidents Day fun with stories of commerce and culture in early Indiana. Visitors will also learn about banking and railroad magnate James F. D. Lanier and discover how he helped ensure Indiana could stay in the Civil War on the side of the Union.
Tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Advanced registration is encouraged by calling us at 812.265.3526.
