The history of innovation.

Join us for hands-on activities as we dive into the history of innovation of the late 1700s and early 1800s and discover things like an electrostatic generator, the printing press and more.

You’ll explore a timeframe that was an exciting one for scientists; it was the beginning of the modern style of medicine and technology. Biologists were learning about the natural world, the chemical and physical scientists, along with engineers, were beginning to understand how the world works, and medicine was on the cusp of understanding how disease spread. These times heralded the development of the telegraph, steam trains, the camera and modern medical practices.

Come have fun while learning in this program led by costumed interpreters.

This event will take place at the Territorial Capitol site located at 1 W. Harrison St., Vincennes.
