As the United States moves towards the end of the year of celebration, Vincennes States Historic Sites will host a presentation discussing the three different Native American confederations of the late 1700s and early 1800s. Learn how Shawnee chief Tecumseh was the last of the powerful leaders to bring together disparate tribes to form one unit. We’ll also explore how their legacy ties to the development of the United States’ Midwest. Light refreshments will be provided.
This event will take place at the Territorial Capitol site located at 1 W. Harrison St., Vincennes.
