At the Lanier Mansion in Madison, visitors can take a guided tour of an elegant Greek Revival home overlooking the Ohio River and connect Spring Break fun with stories of commerce and culture in early Indiana. Visitors will also learn about banking and railroad magnate James F. D. Lanier and discover how he helped ensure Indiana could stay in the Civil War on the side of the Union.
