Enjoy Spring Break in Vincennes, Indiana’s Oldest City

Vincennes State Historic Sites is open Wednesday through Sunday, and building tours will take place on the hour from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Fort Knox II will also be open to self-guided tours for guests to learn more about the area’s importance as an early military outpost. Tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis and advance registration is encouraged by calling 812.882.7422.

Looking for spring break activities? Visit Vincennes Historic Sites and discover Indiana’s oldest continually inhabited town and the story of territorial governance. Guided tours of the original Territory Capitol building as well as the Jefferson Academy, Elihu Stout print shop and Old French House will offer insights about what life was like for residents during the territorial period.

Members receive free admission to Vincennes, as well as free admission to the museum, 10 other historic sites across the state and 600+ other locations.

Groups of 10 or more receive $1 off full-priced admission per person, based on age.
