Explore a variety of artworks and cultural artifacts including paintings, sculptures, works on paper, costumes, textiles, photos and more to discover the nuances of floral motifs in art and design. Several interactive experiences invite visitors of all ages to use their senses and further immerse themselves in the world of florals. A collection of scents will give guests a hint of how the blossoms in featured artworks might smell.

What bloom are you? Find out by taking a quiz to deepen your understanding of floral symbolism and how that reflects and relates to your own personality. Stop in the nearby photo space to get a commemorative photo with an example of your bloom.

Visitors can surround themselves with the timeless beauty of blooms and add to the ever-growing collection of flowers at the flower-making station, where they create a brand-new bloom using felt shapes and a camera. Find out what the color of flowers generally means, like red for romance, as you are tasked with creating a brand-new flower that elicits your emotions.

Get hands-on at the flower-arranging station and uncover what different florals symbolize. Discover the history of certain types of bouquets and then make your own!
