Gaston Carrio is an abstract artist whose work explores the subtle conversations between structure, emotion and the subconscious mind. Originally trained in architecture, Carrio left the corporate world in 2009 to pursue a full-time career in contemporary art. Through layered acrylics, graphite, oil pastels and mixed media, his large-scale works investigate movement, memory and the unknown, creating immersive visual experiences that invite personal interpretation. Carrio has exhibited at major art fairs across the United States and continues to work between Miami, Houston and Buenos Aires.

Tom Wargin has been a professional sculptor for 30 years and received his BFA in 1994 from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. He shared this statement about his art: “My work in its entirety represents who I am, my interests, abilities and what lies beneath my subconscious mind. My goal is to engage the viewer and stimulate the mind as well as their visual senses. I want the viewer to go to a place that they can only dream of or hope to be part of. I sometimes am intrigued by childhood stories and interpret these stories in a fashion that captures my viewer and stirs them into a new way of looking at the story.”

Ernest Vincent Wood, III discovered his passion for painting while studying art history and the light depicted by Caravaggio, Rembrandt and Vermeer. After earning his BFA from Wichita State in 2006, he studied in Italy under the Koch Cultural Trust and has recently begun creating sacred works for The Catholic Diocese of Wichita. He has exhibited internationally, including at the Evansville Museum, which acquired his Bacchae series. His painting More Than Material won 2nd place in The Portrait Society’s 2020–21 competition before selling at Sotheby’s. Blending the Dutch Baroque aesthetic with modern themes, Wood’s work merges Old World mastery with contemporary relevance. As a fine artist and educator, he remains committed to producing work that is intellectually rigorous, accessible and nuanced in its exploration of contemporary life.
