Canal Nights: Summer Celebration

Enjoy a summer evening of family fun on the downtown Canal Walk at our first Canal Nights of the season! Stop by to play games, decorate your very own solar oven, make beaded UV bracelets, paint with water and explore a water sensory table.

Meet our community partners:

ArtMix will provide accessible art activities suitable for all ages.

Emma Donnan Elementary & Middle School will be hosting canvas bag design which visitors can fill with goodies.

Indiana State Library will be doing a book giveaway for children to pick out a free book from a table full of new and used children’s titles.

Dave & Busters will have a 5-foot prize wheel to win trinket toys, candy and coupons.

Price: FREE (with $4 parking fee)

Canal Nights take place outdoors at the museum’s canal entrance along the Downtown Canal, and inside in the museum’s Great Hall. The rest of the museum is closed to the public. If parking in the White River State Park garage, the canal entrance can be accessed by walking through level one of the museum.
