Find more than 15 hands-on, interactive activity stations hosted by the maker community designed to engage and inspire Indiana’s designers, builders, coders, artists, makers and tinkerers of all ages. Each activity invites children and families to invent, create and imagine!


Explore activities on all three levels of the museum

  • Get hands-on with automotive tinkering with Ivy Tech
  • See robotics demos and mini-bots building with FIRST Indiana Robotics
  • Try out an airplane flight tabletop simulator with LIFT Academy
  • Make candles with Antique Candles
  • Build your own movable hand with Society of Women Engineers, Central Ind.
  • Make a wooden catapult with Central Indiana woodworkers
  • Get hands-on with a TinkerCAD interactive activity and 3D printing demo with Fishers Maker Playground
  • Tie a fly for fishing with Indianapolis Fly Casters
  • Explore printmaking with Legos with Provisional Press
  • Make art with bike parts and learn about bike safety with Freewheelin’
  • Check out recycled robots with Nickel Plate Arts
  • Make wood projects (outdoors) with Woodshop on Wheels

Other activities include making bicycle gear spirograph art, coding and Bee Bots for young visitors, building with Legos and more.
