Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites

INDIANAPOLIS (March 16, 2020) – At the direction of the governor and in compliance with recommendations from the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), all 12 locations of the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites will be temporarily closed in response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, effective March 17. This decision was made in the interest of protecting visitors, staff and volunteers.

This situation continues to evolve, and a reopen date will be established in conjunction with ISDH. Any planned programs or events through the end of April will also be canceled or rescheduled, and registered attendees will be notified. Ticketholders may turn their program fees into a donation to the museum, or refunds will be available for any tickets purchased.
