INDIANAPOLIS — Looking for something to do while the kids are out of school this Labor Day? Join the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites for School’s Out! Labor Day and enjoy a day of art activities, performances and special tours focused on Indiana industry.
“On Labor Day, the Indiana State Museum will be filled with fun hands-on activities like making a Labor Day themed puppet, meeting Sullivan the Irish canal worker and discovering what it’s like to work in a limestone quarry,” said Emily Coleman, gallery programming specialist for the museum. “It’s a great opportunity to spend a day off enjoying some time with the family, while learning about Indiana’s labor history!”
