MADISON, Ind. – The annual Eggstravaganza! at the Lanier Mansion State Historic Site will take place at the Lanier-Madison Visitor Center and the surrounding grounds of the site on Saturday, April 8, from noon to 1:30 p.m.

“We always look forward to this time of year,” said Gerry Reilly, Lanier Mansion State Historic Site manager. “It’s great to see families enjoying spending time together on the Lanier lawn, and an Easter egg hunt is the perfect excuse.”

Easter activities for children ages 3 to 10 include storytelling, games, making dragon eggs, coloring and a visit with the Easter Bunny.

The egg hunt will begin on the grounds at 1 p.m. and will be divided by age groups. There will be a winning egg for each age level that will receive a special basket filled with candy and toys.

Admission is $3 per child. Adults are free.

The event sponsor is Richard Kortokrax, DDS. The Easter Bunny is sponsored by Steinhardt Heating and Air Conditioning.

Lanier Mansion State Historic Site is located at 601 W. First St. in historic Madison, Ind.
