MEDIA ADVISORY: Family New Year’s Eve to ring in 2019 at Indiana State Museum

INDIANAPOLIS (Dec. 11, 2018) – On Dec. 31, even a family’s littlest ones can ring in the new year at Family New Year’s Eve at the Indiana State Museum – a family-friendly, alcohol-free event that will take over the whole museum.

WHAT: This New Year’s Eve celebration will feature face painting, dancing, music and more, all culminating with an epic balloon drop in the museum’s Great Hall at 8 p.m. This event is family-friendly and alcohol-free with activities for all ages, from toddlers through adults. The entire museum will be open throughout the event, including THE ART OF THE BRICK, Cardboard Engineering and Celebration Crossing experiences.

WHEN: 6 to 9 p.m., Dec. 31; balloon drop at 8 p.m.

WHERE: Indiana State Museum, 650 W. Washington St., Indianapolis
