Two new staff members join Lanier Mansion State Historic Site

MADISON, Indiana (Sept. 24) – Two new staff members have joined the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites (ISMHS) at Lanier Mansion State Historic Site.

Emily Reth has been hired as site manager at the location. Reth comes to ISMHS from the Barker Mansion and Civic Center in Michigan City, Indiana,  where she served as director. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in history from Valparaiso University, and has a master’s degree in history and public history from Wright State University.

Brittany Southworth has been hired as program developer at the mansion. Southworth has a bachelor’s degree in history from Indiana University, and she has previously worked as an employment specialist, office assistant, and media and marketing manager.
